![]() | My housemate Louis and myself have been for a few trips with our mate Dan in his 4.7m ProX, and the stability of the hull at rest is phenomenal.Me and Louis are both big blokes at 130+kg, and even with all three of us standing on the one side of the boat we could barely get it to tip. It made for THE BEST lure flicking boat I have ever been in, bar none. I have only ever seen the same level of stability in a hull with boats well over twice the length. ![]() Posted By: Ross Hunt Mackay QLD |
![]() | When I was approached to do a fun photo shoot for the Intruder I thought "Oh great, i'll be cramped up in a boat, sprayed with salt water and my hair wont last the trip out!" I was wrong. I was pleasantly surprised with the amount of room we had to move around and fish, plenty of room for all of our stuff and not one ounce of water came into the boat. I have spent alot of time in boats on family holidays and with friends and I have to say this is my favourite by far. I was really impressed with how smooth it was even when jumping waves in Jumping Pin.Although it comes across as more of a "blokes" boat, it is still very female friendly. It is easy to get in and out with plenty of room for the family or just to sprawl out. A quick trip on the tube topped the day off well!! I hope I get asked along to the next one!! Thanks Guys! ![]() Posted By: Kate Williams North Brisbane |
![]() | Aluvan Marine were good enough to bring me along on a demo day and I was able to go for a trip in their Intruder. To say I was blown away would be an understatement. I have been around boats most of my life and gone in more than I could count. The smooth ride that the Intruder gave was unbelievable. It was smooth even in rough water. I would find myself bracing as we hit a wave only to find that there was no need. Not only do you get a fantastic ride, it can corner as if it were on rails. It has little to no roll through tight corners. You really have to be in it to understand how very different this boat is. It really is in a league of its own. ![]() Posted By: Michael Lindsay Holmview, QLD www.DomainFX.com.au |
![]() | Having the privilege to test ride the new Aluvan Intruder 6200 and comparing it to many years of boating on river, harbour and ocean waters, I'm searching for words to describe the performance and features of this craft.... I find only one, 'perfect'.Navigating the unpredictable Pimpama Bar which separates North and South Stradbroke Island, named 'The Jumping Pin' and nick-named, 'The Washing Machine', created ideal water test conditions. The ride was paramounted by the cushioning effect of the superb new hull design. It's stability, ability to plane with minimum hp and it's turning at speed matched that of a jet boat, making the whole experience seem 'child's play'. I am convinced that the Aluvan Intruder has the qualities required to be an Australian Icon in the boating realm.... I'd put my money on it. ![]() Posted By: Kevin Murphy Nerang, QLD |
